Diary of Jane ♥: A little down south...

Hey Ho...I'm finally back from a one week getaway to the land down under...

Yea...guilty of not telling some of you guys...sorry..^^"
Anyways, here's what I have been doing during my one week disappearance..
Went to Busselton to be exact... it's a little seaside town in Perth...

and..arrived safe and sound in Perth...

Perth airport's really simple but still nice...but not as nice as klia..:P

I guess I'm too used to the luxury of KLiA back home..

Took a long 3 hours drive to our home for the next few days...

Here it is..Busselton Beach Resort..by the sea...
It's really nice and cosy...
checkout my bedroom..

One thing bout Australia...it's almost winter now...and the weather is cold..
really cold..
well maybe not for you..
but for me it was freezing...
especially at night...
and nothing defines a cold night more than a steaming cup of hot chocolate...

There's just soo many things to tell...
I can't put them all down here in words..
so come ask me bout the funny stuff that happened..

Here's we at the Busselton Jetty..
It's really long..

Hung out at their Sunday Market...
which is like a flea market more like...
They sell little knick-knacks, fruits, plants, pets...

And there are dogs everywhere you go...
Australians sure love their canine friends...
Most of them are really pampered..especially the smaller toybreeds..
They wear tiny coats so that they wont get cold during winter...nice...

Went to Ngilgi Caves next...
really big cave, really beautiful inside...
No bats=No smell=I like...=)

My really bad impersonation of a cave man..:(

Check out those stalactites and stalagmites..

This ones called Jubba the Hut..

And because of this sign...
i figure alot of Australians still believe the correct way
to greet ppl in Malaysia is by saying "Boleh Saja"=_=
The chinese one is wrong too anyway...

Who doesn't love free stuff...?
Went around the countryside the next day to "taste" wine...;)

Wine..One of Australia's more well known liquor..
Free warm wine trickling down your throat,
filling you with warm tingling sensation,
during a cold winter's day
=Priceless

Not only that, guess what else was there..?
A whole factory filled with CHOCOLATES...*hearts hearts hearts*

Rows and rows of them..total awesome-ness...

I think I just died and went to heaven...
*snaps back to reality* too exp to get some:(
had to stick to the free samples which was good enough...:D

See that chocolate making thingy-magicky..
Bet you guys will love to do fondue in that! ha!
Well good things had to come to an end...
but better things were installed...

Fresh home-made fruit icecream..
who couldn't resist, even on a cold winter's day..

Yummay..

For the first time in Sj Icecream History,
There's a strawberry icecream which taste like REAL strawberries..
and not those artificial pink cr*p you get in napoleon trios..

And since we were so near the beach,
we went to catch the sun before it sets..

Kame Hame Ha!

One thing I learnt that day...
Australian chickens are Humongous compared to Malaysian ones..

Tuesday was the day we went whale watching...
the weather was getting colder and I fell ill..:(
But that didn't stop me from getting some pics of them whales for you guys to see..

Tired of sea already...
we head to the dryer lands..
Here..in perth city..:D

Actually, Perth is just like any other city...kinda boring..
If you're into cities..you probably better off heading to Sydney.
But one thing about Perth is that there are cockatoos everywhere...
Yeap..these white feathered parrots...

There are like pigeons here in Perth..
and to imagine they sell them so expensively back here...
So you want a pet parrot, go catch one in Perth..

You haven't seen Aussie unless you see one of these...
